The Knights of Columbus provide statewide support to Special Olympics Indiana throughout the year.
In 2015 the Indiana State Council and Special Olympics Indiana expanded upon the partnership that already existed and developed a more formal structure between the two organizations, the Knights of Columbus Ambassador Program.
The Ambassador Program was developed in 2013 through a series of meetings with Indiana State Council Representatives, Council Leaders and Special Olympics Indiana.
What is an Ambassador?
The member of each Council who is invited to the annual half-day planning meeting, sets and oversee the Council fundraising goal, work to involve the Council in Special Olympics activities, and coordinate volunteer efforts for the Council.
