Msgr. Downey was ordained on June 5, 1909 and was appointed Pastor of St Catherine’s Parish on June 26, 1917, remaining pastor there until his death on December 28, 1948.
All member meetings will be held at our new build, Downey Home Association – 4071 S Keystone Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227, the next meeting is Monday, March 9th, 2026 at 7pm.

Building Update
February 2026
Bingo Update: Council Bingo is here and it is scheduled to begin on Tuesday February 24, 2026 and every Tuesday after. Doors will open at 5:00pm and bingo will begin at 6:00pm. Our max capacity will be around 50 players.
Liquor License Update: The Downey Home Association is set to appear before the Marion County Liquor Board on March 2nd, where we’ll find out the outcome of our liquor license request.
